Certification Extensions

All First Aid and CPR certifications expiring on or after March 1, 2020, have been automatically extended until June 31st, 2021. This extension applies to all first aid agencies Province-wide.

Scented products

Scented products can cause allergic reactions and respiratory distress. Students, staff, and visitors are encouraged not to wear or use any scented products while at Training-1st courses.

Seniors’ discount

Training-1st students who are 65 years of age and over will receive a discount of 10 percent when registering for a City program. Proof of age is required.

Severe allergies

It is the responsibility of the participant or parent/guardian to identify if there are severe allergies that require an auto-injector. Training-1st attempts to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants with "allergen-safe zones and practices". Participants are required to provide auto-injectors to the facility where the program is offered.
